I loved everything about The Ven, especially the staff! I initially booked a three-night stay but ended up extending it to two weeks. The location is perfect, nestled among beautiful embassy buildings and just a five-minute walk from the Dupont Circle metro station. Front Office Manager Julie was incredible—she truly made me feel at home and well cared for. Jin and Ryan at the front desk were also exceptionally helpful. Having stayed at hotels around the world, I can confidently say I have never encountered such a friendly and welcoming staff. My room was fantastic—spotlessly clean, with a lovely street view. The Ven truly became my home away from home, and I will always stay there whenever I visit DC!

I don’t eat breakfast I am a long time guest at Embassy Row. I am dismayed by the conversation of my hard earned dollars into a currency that can only be spent inside the hotel I.e. the resort fee. There are many excellent bars and restaurants in the DuPont circle area. That’s one of the reasons I choose to stay there. I resent being forced to spend money at the hotel. It’s heavy handed and alienating.

Fantastic location. So many great places to eat nearby, at reasonable prices. Easy walk to the Metro. We were there for sightseeing, and this was a perfect spot. Hotel is nice, the breakfast was very good. Quiet despite the location in a fairly busy area. The staff were excellent, and helped us with directions and dinner recommendations. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

I stayed at this hotel in December, and the staff is super friendly and kind. I paid for the included breakfast package, which could have been better. I mean, the food itself was good, but you had only one choice: if you wanted another thing from the menu, you had to pay for it; the coffee machine was broken on all of the days I stayed, that is something I don't understand for a hotel.

Comfortable, clean, very close to Metro, seemed safe, pool had great view and was amazing in the mid July heat of DC, free book, library, bar, restaurant, play room, exercise facility, tea room. Sleek modern look. Great smelling toiletries. Totally functional bathroom facilities. Glasses of water available on main level. Cookies and lemonade that was fresh tasting in afternoon.
